Frequently asked questions about RoleFit

Credits & Billing

Do my credits expire or reset?

No. Credits never expire and never reset automatically. Each analysis costs 1 credit. You keep unused credits indefinitely until you use them.

How do I get more credits?

You start with 1 free credit on sign-up. Additional credits can be purchased in the Buy Credits section on the Analyse page. The current packages are Starter (5 credits), Standard (20 credits), and Pro (50 credits).

What happens if the analysis fails?

If an analysis fails for any reason, such as timeout or AI error, your credit is automatically refunded. You will never be charged for a failed analysis.

Which currencies are supported?

We support USD and TWD. The currency shown at checkout is determined automatically from your region or browser language when possible.

Resume Management

Can I save multiple resumes?

Yes. You can save up to five named resume variants in your Resume Library. This is useful when you want different versions for backend, full-stack, manager, or other role types.

Do I need to name each resume?

Yes. Every saved resume requires a name so you can tell variants apart later. If you upload a file while creating a new resume, RoleFit uses the filename as the default name and you can edit it before analysing.

Can I re-analyse the same JD with a different resume?

Yes. From the result page, use the re-analyse action to return to the Analyse page with the same job description already loaded. You can then select a different saved resume and run the analysis again.

Can I edit a resume after reviewing the result?

Yes. Result pages show which saved resume was used for that analysis. If the analysis was run with a saved resume, you can jump directly into editing that exact resume from the result page.

How Matching Works

How does RoleFit score my resume?

RoleFit uses AI to read both your resume and the job description, then scores the match across three dimensions: Skills Match, Experience Depth, and Qualification Fit. These are combined into a weighted overall grade.

What do the grades mean?

S = 90-100% (excellent match), A = 75-89% (strong match), B = 55-74% (moderate match), C = 35-54% (weak match), and D = below 35% (poor match). The grade reflects alignment with the specific job description, not your overall ability.

What is seniority mismatch?

If the role requires a different experience level than your resume demonstrates, either more senior or more junior, we flag a seniority mismatch. This helps you understand when the gap is level rather than skills.

How accurate is the analysis?

The analysis is a strong signal, not a definitive verdict. It reflects how well the language and content of your resume matches the JD. Use it as a guide, not a final answer.

Your Resume & Privacy

Does RoleFit modify my resume or add fake content?

No. The generated tailored resume contains only information present in your original resume. We do not add, invent, or inflate any details.

Is my resume data stored?

Yes. We store saved resumes and analysis records so you can manage resume variants, revisit past results, and see which resume was used for each analysis in History.

What is stored in History?

History keeps a record of past analyses, including the job title, score, date, and the saved resume used for that run when available. This makes it easier to compare how different resume variants perform against different roles.

Can I delete my data?

You can delete saved resumes yourself from the Resume Library. Account-level data deletion is not currently self-serve in the product.

Which file formats are supported?

PDF and DOCX files up to 5 MB. You can also paste resume text directly if you prefer.
